Up for sale I have another refurbished and reworked Game Gear, This one is a VA1 single asic and the machine has had a full recap with MLCC caps across the sound and the main board while the power board has been recapped with decent quality electrolytics, in this instance its a mix of Rubycon, JB and panasonic for power. The screen is a v6 ips take a look at the images to see, this screen uses the same xilinx fpga and lcd as the mcwill, funny playing , r6 v1 etc

Due to the removal of the 35v circuit and the old inefficient screen this unit will also provide significant improvements in battery life when running off of batteries, up to 7 hours rather than the 1 or so hours with the old screen installed. The game gear has a new R6 shell and its original buttons and it also has a new lense installed to make that new screen pop, talking of which the LCD is held in place with a 3d printed bracket so alignment is also spot on.
