Oil on canvas. Signed Alf. Rasmussen for Alfred Rasmussen (20th century) A listed Danish painter, known for his Danish landscapes and cityscapes. The oil dates back to the early 20th century ( 1930-1940s) Large impressive cityscape from the area known as Ved Stranden ( "At the Beach"). Is is a canal side public space and street which runs along the Slotsholmen Canal in central Copenhagen. Framed in its authentic golden salon frame. A certificate of authenticity will be included with this work.
Condition:
Ready to hang. In good condition with no holes, tears or missing paint. The original frame has minor scratches due to the age.
