This system was solely used interior. The camera remained plugged in so I can’t speak to the longevity of the battery in it. The spotlight was never used and has a battery also. 1 charging cord but 2 plugs. Has the magnetic base for camera and a security base for the spotlight which can be used on the camera instead. Magnetic only works with camera though. Has the base station. Everything works. Will need an Ethernet cord to plug in base to internet source - not included.
