A very elegant clock, the case is made from highly prized Nero Portoro Marble with a Gilt Metal Handle

I believe this would have originally had a clockwork movement which has been replaced with a quartz battery movement

It is lovely as it is but the case would also make a fabulous replacement for a better quality movement

Overall the case measures 13.5cm high 12.5cm wide and 6.5cm deep the handle adds 3cm to the height

The dial is 8cm and the compartment at the back to hold the movement is approx 6cm dia and 4cm deep
