You're bidding on "Boston 1969" - 14" X 35" - indicated as published by Joy St. Studio, Boston, Mass, and artist signature within the print, "F. Anderson". Fun lithographic print with a Mid-Century vibe, depicting a sort of whimsical birds-eye-view of Boston - from Charlestown and Bunker Hill and the Constitution at the top, down to the Prudential building at the bottom - and other familiar sights, like the State House, swan boats, Schrafft's Building and the Aquarium evident - also some now gone favorites, like Filene's, Jordan Marsh, and Jimmy's Harborside Restaurant. The art and calendar below are primarily black and white, but the harbor and duck pond are filled in, possibly screenprinted, in a silvery gray. Winding its way through the image is the nasty, traffic covered Central Artery, which still haunts the dreams of anyone who drove in Boston before the the Zakim Bridge and the Big Dig.

NOTE - there is a small stain near top-right corner, and a couple of small bumps on the right-edge - overall presentation is clean and appealing, though. Appears scarce, maybe one-of-a-kind at this point - I could not find another example in my research.

Please review photos carefully to make your own determination of condition and appeal, and don't hesitate to ask any questions prior to bidding - thanks for looking!
