Clean, used Mallory YL-541-HP dual point performance distributor.

Aluminum bodied distributor with rounded base casting. Numbers "L-583" and "L-370" on bottom denote a Mallory YL-541-HP. Part number tag usually attached is missing.

Point cam and advance mechanism below point plate appear to be well lubricated. Both points look to be newer with no pitting that I can see on the contacts, but some wear is visible on the point adjustment screws.

The condenser reads “Made in Mexico” and looks fair, but I did note 2 spots of surface rust on the lower edge (see pics).

Cap and rotor appear to be new or nearly new.
