Here is a rare vintage 1970's Peggy von Plasty doll which is a smaller clone version of 1970's Francie doll from Mattel, she comes wearing a purple dress - not sure if it's her original but she was wearing it when I got her several years back (she is from my personal collection). Both doll and dress are marked Hong Kong. She is smaller in size than Francie and I have shown the last photo with Francie FOR SIZE REFERENCING ONLY - Mattel Francie and dress SHOWN IN LAST PHOTO ARE NOT INCLUDED. AUCTION IS FOR PEGGY DOLL IN PURPLE DRESS ONLY. She is in used condition with age and play wear, marks, scuffs, etc. and a TLC body with melting at leg joint, swingy waist and legs that don't hold a bend.
She has cute face with painted facial features similar to Francie face style of the 1970's. Hair is blonde with bangs - similar style to Busy Francie doll - hair style is uneven. She comes on a twist waist body marked Hong Kong on her back side which is in TLC condition with melting at hip joint (see photos) - leg with melting still moves/swivels. Her waist is very swingy/loose and her legs don't hold a bend.
She comes wearing a purple dress with white decorative faux pearl buttons in front and one clasp - bottom gapes open but I think it is style - meant to be worn with something underneath. Dress has Hong Kong tag also.
Hard to find little Francie clone doll if you don't mind her damage. Another doll from my personal collection I've been thinning out.
Please look closely at all photos (there are twelve) and let me know if you have any questions.  I am not an expert only a lover of dolls from this era.
