Unusual gilt bronze Victorian begging dog with articulated bowler hat and on base.

Nicely detailed figure with textured coat and little glass eyes.

Seems quite a small size for an inkwell but cannot think what else. The head is attached to the hat and fits loosely in the body of the dog.

Probably Austrian but no makers mark.

Size is approx 9cms height.

Weight approx 260gms so quite a solid piece.
