Nippon Hand Painted Pink & Yellow Rose Jeweled & Beaded 14 Inch Tall Vase
Beautiful large porcelain vase. Nicely hand painted with large yellow and dark pink roses. The yellow rose has white enamel highlights. Painted green at the top and bottom, with raised gold gilt leaf scrollwork overlay, gold beading, and pink and green raised jeweling. With garlands of raised gold gilt beading and green raised jeweling at the top and bottom of the middle section. Marked on the bottom with a blue Maple leaf and Nippon Hand Painted. This mark was used between 1891 and 1911.
Has some wear to the gilding, included on some of the beading. I've examined it closely and do not believe there are any beads missing. No chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide x 14 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
