Here is a cute vintage 1960's Tressy doll from American Character wearing a red swimsuit and red and white skirt.  She is in used condition with age and play wear, marks, scuffs, etc. and skirt is wrinkled, needs to be pressed.

She has pretty painted facial features with side glancing eyes. Back of her head is marked (I think, hard to read) American Doll & Toy Corp. 1963. She has blonde hair and a retractable ponytail - ponytail is still attached but she does not have key (that goes into slot in her back). Hair could use a little taming. She comes on her straight waist, straight leg body with key hole on her back (see photo). I did not remove her red swimsuit as it is a very thin nylon (will run easily). Body has marks and scuffs from age and play. She comes wearing red swimsuit and red, white and gold skirt - looks like a dress together like this. Skirt is wrinkled, pleats could use a re-pressing, has clasp in back. Clothing is not tagged, not sure manufacturer but she was wearing this when I got her and I think is from similar time frame.
