A beautiful antique bowl with stand produced by Noritake in the early 1900s, only the stand has the base stamp. It is the 'Komaru' stamp with the ends curling as on the early pieces. This mark was registered in London by Noritake in 1908 for their export ware, then they registered it in Japan in 1911.

The design is floral with raised gilding. The raised gilding has stood the test of time very well and looks to be in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing.

A beautiful piece of fine porcelain. When gently tapped it rings like a bell, lovely.
