Up for sale is a 1996 Chinese Silver Panda 10 Yuan Coin consisting of 1 oz of .999 fine silver.  THIS COIN IS THE SMALL DATE VARIETY.  The coin is certified and graded MS69 by NGC.  

The 1996 Panda coin was issued by the People’s Bank of China.  The obverse design features the Temple of Heaven in Beijing with the title of PRC (in Chinese) and the year of issuance.  The reverse design features one of the many attractive panda designs and the face value of 10 Yuan.  The BU coin had 2 varieties – large and small dates. The small date was minted at the Shanghai Mint and the large date at the Shenyang Mint.
