This is a miniature leather bound book in French that is well over 200 years old. It is Vol. 3 of a 3-volume set that covers 6 parts of a series on mythology by CA Demoustier. This Vol. 3 contains Part 5 and Part 6 of the series. It has several small black and white illustrations of various myths.
The leather cover is missing an inch at the top. It is also bumped at the corners. It is covered in black spots and its hard to tell if these are part of the book design or very old ink spots. There is an owner's name in ink. The page edges are gilt tipped. There are marbled pages at the front and back of the book. There are light stains on some of the inside pages, and they are slightly darkened with age, but in good condition. The binding is tight.
It measures approximately 3.5 inches by 5.5 inches.
