This typed letter is dated “29^th June, 1981”, the 8 x 10 stationery is embossed in black at the head with “Stirling Moss Limited” and the badge of the British Racing Driver’s Club, and it is signed Stirling Moss. It is in pristine condition. Accompanying the letter is a 5.5” x 3.75” photo with two images: a portrait of Moss and a Mercedes-Benz W 196 2.5 litre, 8-cyl, which he drove to victory in the British Grand Prix at Aintree in 1955--his first World Championship victory. The photo is inscribed “To Lara & Marion with very best wishes” and signed Stirling Moss. It, too, is in pristine condition. These items have been in storage in a smoke and pet free home for almost 15 years. They will be carefully packaged and shipped in a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope (12.5” x 9.5”) at a domestic cost of $9.85.
