Raymond Scott & His Orchestra Radio Transcription Disc.  Approximately 25 minutes on this 16 inch, black lacquer acetate coated aluminum, 33 1/3 rpm disc.  This disc was recorded for reference purposes only and not available to the general public, Very Rare!

 Raymond Scott & His Orchestra performing live from The Panther Room of The Hotel Sherman in Chicago, August 8, 1940.  Songs include "Theme", "Get Happy", "You're Lonely And I'm Lonely Too" vocal Nan Wynn, "Huckelberry Duck", "Sagebrush Serenade" vocal Nan Wynn, "Love Dance" (the beginning of this song is cut off due to the disc switch), "Wealthy High Jump", "Where Was I" vocal Nan Wynn, "My Man" (cut off by closing announcement).   The disc ends after the closing announcement and right before the last song is going to end, so the last few seconds of the broadcast may be missing.  There is some paint on the edge of the disc that could possibly be removed that effects the last couple of revolutions of side 2 only.  25 Minutes

The announcer describes The Panther Room as having an "unusual atmosphere" where "food is served on flaming swords".  

I could not find any reference to any existing copy of this radio program in any online radio log or database
