Aelteste Volkstedt Hand Painted Figurine of a Boy With A Flute / Recorder C. 1915-1934

German hand painted porcelain figurine of a oy with a flute / recorder. Has a yellow waist coat, purple pants and jacket with lace cuffs and jabot. Gold highlights. Marked on the bottom with the hand painted underglaze blue mark used by Aelteste Volkstedt between 1915 and 1934.

Has some wear to the gilding and the bottom of the recorder has been broken off, but otherwise good condition.

Measures approximately 2 inches wide including the slash at his waist x 5 inches tall.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
