Late 19th Century Fukagawa Bamboo Orange Floral & Gold 8 7/8 Inch Plate A
Antique late 19th century Meiji period Japanese Fukagawa porcelain plate. Decorated with raised hand enameled white bamboo grass and orange flowers with gold leaves over a matte brown background. Olive green and orange border. Signed on the reverse Fukagawa Sei.
Has some wear to the gilding, and to the brown background but otherwise good condition.Measures approximately 8 7/8 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
