Vintage Map of OXFORDSHIRE, a 1974 reproduction of  a 1820 Geological map of OXFORDSHIRE by W SMITH  Mineral Surveyor,  Engraver JOHN CARY 

This reproduction of the map was published in 1974 by BRITISH MUSEUM (NATURAL HISTORY) 

Map Scale 1: 221,760 (1 inch = 3.5 miles).

IMAGE SIZE 18.75" X 21" 

OVERALL SIZE 21.25" X 25" 

The map is in vintage condition, on cream coloured cartridge paper. It has good colour definition but is beginning to show its age, it has some age spotting  at the edges, and marks and age spots along the margins  - please see the photos for details. 

The map has been stored rolled up and will be posted in a strong tube.
