A collection of designs for kimono and crafts supervised by Kamisaka Sekka, a great artistic figure of the Meiji period in Japan, who adopted the techniques of the Rimpa school and left behind many impressive designs that fuse tradition and innovation.
Contains impressive works by outstanding artists of the Meiji era who were active in pattern design in Kyoto, including Sekkka, Kaigai Tennen, and Tanaka Gekko.
The book was not sold in bookstores.
