For sale here is a AMD Reference Radeon HD 7970 Tahiti 3GB Dual BIOS graphics card.  VBIOS has been flashed to provide native Apple boot screen options in the Mac Pro 1,1 through to 5,1 (2006 - 2012)

This card is suitable for all macOS versions from OSX 10.8.3 Mountain Lion through to macOS12 Monterey.  Works with Mac Pros with either EFI32 or EFI64.

It will show full Apple boot screens and EFI options with the Alt key, allowing selection of a choice of boot drives, macOS or Windows.

This AMD Reference Radeon HD 7970 also features a dual BIOS switch, allowing BIOS switching for clocking or back-up.

Ports available in macOS and Windows: 1 x Dual-Link DVI, 1 x HDMI, 2 x mini-Displayport (mDP). All output video in both macOS and Windows.

The card itself is in immaculate condition, extremely clean throughout, and working perfectly.  It has been fully serviced, thermal paste on the GPU die has been renewed, and it has been fully stress-tested. It will come securely boxed with anti-static packaging.
