Retro Italian 18k Yellow Gold Sapphire Blue Turquoise Brooch

Presented is a stunning, Italian 18 karat deep yellow gold brooch or pin made
during the 1960s-80s. The pin is in an openwork, leaf sort of form, with gold
rope accents. The pin is prong-set with 15 turquoise stones and 5 matching
sapphires. Each stone is very well set and is secure. This is a gorgeous,
eye-catching piece, the colors look wonderful together. The plunger style clasp
is extremely secure, the clasp has to be rotated into a certain position and
pulled out just to undo the pin. 

The back is marked Italy and 18K. Tested and guaranteed. 

This piece is virtually mint condition. There are no missing stones, no
breaks, no splits and no repairs. 

The pin measures 1 1/4 by 2 1/8 inches and weighs 12.9 grams.
