PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
The Atari 5200 console works just fine. However, both included controllers have issues. The start, pause and reset buttons appear to not work, so I am unable to play the included games. Please read the full description below and view the included video before purchasing.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a vintage Atari 5200 video game console. It was made in Taiwan and it's the 4 port version where the video cable connects to the RF adapter, then to the TV with an OEM Atari power supply, model C018187. It also comes with 2 OEM Atari joystick controllers, the 5200 console manual and the following 16 video games. They are all authentic and they are all game cartridge only:

- Moon Patrol
- Super Cobra
- River Raid
- Robotron 2084
- Super Breakout (Manual included)
- Jungle Hunt
- Q-Bert
- Defender
- Galaxian (Manual included)
- Missle Command (Manual included)
- Pac-Man (Manual included)
- Star Raiders (Manual included)
- Centipede (Manual included)
- Space Invaders (Manual included)
- Pole Position
- Vanguard

I have tested and verified this Atari 5200 gaming system works by playing the games listed above. I used controllers not included that had all the buttons working to verify the games do work with this console. Both video and sound work. It's currently set at channel 3. There are issues with the included controllers.

Both controllers appear to not have the start, pause and reset buttons work. The fire buttons appear to not work either. I did open both controllers and clean the flex circuit, but still same issue. I believe the flex circuit will need to be replaced in both controllers. However, I cannot find originals, I can only find the gold plated rebuilt kits.

They can cost 50-60 bucks per controller. So I will include both controllers and let the buyer determine if and how they want to fix these controllers. Cosmetic wise, the Atari console has been used before and sat in storage for a good amount of time. It has wear and tear, which includes scratches and markings on the console.

Also, it appears there is a number etched on the front, next to the last controller port on the right. Also etched on the top of the console, the silver part. The cover though is still fully intact and working, as seen in the photos provided. Functionality wise, this Atari 5200 video game system appears to work just fine. The power on/off button works, the controller ports work.

Though it does appear the video signal is grainy. I do not know if it's the console or RF adapter, or it is my TV. My test TV has sound issues and sometimes video issues. So it could be just my test TV is causing the grainy video, but not sure. So there is a possibility this has a grainy signal. I added a video showing this Atari system in action and I show the issues with the controllers.

It can take up to 48 hours for the video to be approved. You can review the photos provided for this listing to get a better idea of the overall look and condition of this item.
