ADDING CONTO C YEAR 1922

Rare Conto C adding machine, manufactured from 1922 by Carl Landolt, in Thalwil, Zurich, Switzerland.

There are three Conto models: model A, model B manufactured after 1912 and model C manufactured after 1922.

The peculiarity of this machine is the configuration of the addends, which is done by turning the hands on each digit. A counter at the bottom allows us to know which digit we have dialed. To set the digits to add we have to activate a lever located in the upper left part. This lever has three positions, which are used to carry out various actions and at the same time to reset. If you are not familiar with it, you have to handle it carefully until you know what each piece is for and what purpose it has in the adding machine. This will only take us a few minutes. In any case, it is best to view a tutorial on YouTube beforehand where we can see how it works and how to handle it. We also have the serial number 2205 engraved on the lever. On the left side we can see the name of the manufacturer, model and place of manufacture engraved in the brass. Keep the original case.

This Conto C is in very good condition and works correctly.
