Antique Persian Mirror

Mirror is approx 12”x9”

Wood frame is wrapped in a sheet of silver (not sterling grade) or silver plate and heavily decorated. It once had blue enameling but much of it has come off. The front features six quatrefoil lozenges with human figures - possibly a king or noble, and two six sided stars with acanthus leaves, maybe artichokes. In the back is a heavily embossed pattern of flowers and birds. The mirror itself is spotty and streaked. The lower right corner has a slight dent in it (see photo) but overall it is in good condition for its age. The silver sheets are secure and it’s solid overall.
