Offered up for sale is the pictured pedestal plant stand designed by post war master Eric Bolin. This is an extremely rare piece by the internationally regarded, Swedish born, French educated furniture designer, who was active in Hollywood from the 1940s into the 1960s. Erik Bolin designed custom furniture for Marilyn Monroe , Henry Fonda , Kathryn Hepburn and other members of Hollywood high society. This pedestal style plant stand is approximately 24” (61cm) tall. It’s lightweight and feels like it was made from birch wood. This plant stand shows years of use. It has a slight wobble to it and the veneer shows water stains and some cracking. Offered in as is found condition. No attempt to restored has been made. It appears to be 100% original.
