A Classic & large Vintage British Industrial Enamelled Metal Ceiling Light.
An Iconic factory light from the 1950s period.
A well used version that has battle scars and marks of a long life, ideal for the ultra industrial used look.
The shade is an original Industrial/Utility item designed to do a targeted job of down lighting.
The light comes with a length of modern earthed wiring and a new BC earthed bulb holder as well as a new chrome reflector, new mounting parts and cable protection.
The light also has a vintage replacement brass top plate, Brass hanging eye, a length of Brassed chain and a modern Brass hooked ceiling rose. The light has one Bayonet bulb holder.

The Light is an original utility piece and as such is suited to a setting where the basic nature of construction will fit in.

Condition - Please note the following points.....
1. The shade has seen a hard life, it has a number of large chips and enamel loss. The light has a number of small marks to its inner white surface, some patchiness to Green enamel finish, it has a used Industrial look with denting and finish loss to the rim.
2. The wiring is modern and earthed - The light works well.
3. The shade is an original 1950s utility piece, it has many marks and patches from use - Please see my images for details.
