The lamp has a heavy round base that has a lead insert and a brass cover.
The column is a simple polished raw brass tube with an eye handle at the top and an adjustable sliding ball section that holds the lighting tube, the ball section has a thumbscrew for height adjustment.
The shade is an ornate decorative moulded glass bell shape made from frosted glass with a light yellow rim.
The shade is held in place by the original brass three screw gallery.

The lamp has modern earthed wiring, an earthed switched bulb holder and a modern cable clamp inside the bulb holder.
A heavy, sturdy Antique style lamp with original shade.
Condition is used but good and as shown.
The brass is raw and lightly polished, it has some tarnish marks and some marks from use and age especially to the column from adjustment.
The shade is very good and free of damage, there are a few manufacturing marks in the glass and marks to the gallery rim hidden in use.
Points to note.....
- The lamp has small marks relating to age & use but nothing major.
- Tarnish marks to the gallery.
- Wiring is good, modern and earthed and the lamp works well.
- Underneath the lamp base has a new felt base fitted.
- A bulb is Not Included
