Ingredients:

Ashwagandha Root: Ashwagandha contains chemicals that calm the mind, reduce inflammation, lower blood pressure, and balance the immune system.  It is an adaptogen, which means it helps the body to adapt to stress. It has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, and to improve sleep quality.

Bacopa Leaf: Bacopa Leaf is full of antioxidants with powerful active compounds which prevents the process called lipid peroxidation. Lipid peroxidation is linked to several health conditions including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and other neurodegenerative disorders. Bacopa Leaf helps to enhance brain function, resulting in improved spatial learning and better ability to retain information. It has been shown to improve cognitive function, including memory, attention, and processing speed. It also has anxiolytic effects, meaning it can help to reduce anxiety.

Chamomile Flower: Chamomile Flower is full of antioxidants, including apigenin which is a compound that binds to certain receptors in the brain to promote relaxation and sleepiness. It has anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, and analgesic properties which are helpful in reducing pain.

Hops Flower: Hops Flower contains many antioxidants, polyphenols, and beneficial essential oils such as linalool, which helps to reduce oxidative stress. The herb is beneficial in balancing the mood— easing stress, anxiety, and symptoms of depression.  Additionally, Hops Flower has calming properties which helps to promote better restful sleep, especially when used in combination with Valerian Root.

Lavender Flower: Lavender Flower is deeply relaxing and reduces stress. The soothing benefits of Lavender Flower extend to its use as an anxiolytic, mood stabilizer, sedative, analgesic, and anti-convulsant with powerful neuroprotective properties.

Lemon Balm Leaf: Lemon Balm Leaf has stress and anxiety relieving properties, making you feel calm and at ease. It is also a good source of antioxidants, which can help to protect the body from damage.

Motherwort: Motherwort contains numerous antioxidants that help to reduce the risk of heart disease, reduce blood pressure, and heart rate caused by stress and anxiety. With cardiac-protective properties, this herb helps to relax heart cells and aid in the prevention of blood clots that cause heart attacks.

Passionflower: Passionflower supports the nervous system by promoting calm and reducing anxiety. The herb boosts the level of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain which lowers brain activity, promoting relaxation and improving sleep. Passionflower is an effective analgesic, helping to alleviate pain.

Skullcap: Skullcap is a mild relaxant and is beneficial for easing anxiety, nervous tension, and convulsions. It has powerful antioxidant effects which help protect against neurological disorders.

St. John’s Wort: St. Johns Wort contains the plant compounds hypericin and hyperforin which increase levels of serotonin in the brain. The herb is beneficial in alleviating anxiety, easing nerve pain, and reducing insomnia.
