Welcome to the sale of my gorgeous 1979 Mitsubishi Colt Sapporo GSR two door pillarless coupe.

It's a true survivor that has led a charmed life, being one of only five road going cars left in the Uk.

Being 45 years old it is tax and mot exempt but never the less i have just had it mot'd and showing no advisories.

I've owned the car for about a year after looking for one for years, this one found me and i've loved every minute of owning it.

During my ownership i have had the radiator re-cored with a modern twin wall. Fitted new tyres, new alternator, new wipers and number plates. Basically everything it needed for re-commissioning after being stood for years

The paintwork is almost un-marked, with just the odd chip and is the original "Dark Grey", as Mitsubishi call it, but i'd say it's more 1970's bronze. It polishes up lovely and has a half grey vinyl roof in superb condition.

The tyres are all new including the spare and the wheels have recently been sand blasted and painted to match the car.

The 2.0ltr, 4 cylinder engine is sweet as a nut and passed the emmissions test with flying colours. It's ultra reliable, very economical to run and great fun to drive.

Matched to the 5 speed manual gearbox, the car keeps up with modern traffic with ease. I'd drive it anywhere!

The grey cloth is all original and in excellent condition with no wear or splits to any of the seats. The dash is perfect with no cracks.

Everything on the car works exactly as it should, including the digital clock which keeps perfect time!

It only has a LW/MW radio, which is sporadic to say the least but i didn't want to spoil the originality by swapping it out.

I've put over 3000 miles on it since owning it and it still only has 65000 on the clock.

I've driven it on various car tours with my classic car club and recently returned from a tour of Norfolk where it performed beautifully.

It has also featured at the NEC Classic car show in Birmingham, in March 2024 and won best Foreign car at the Great British Car Journey Museum last month.

Everyone who see's the car loves it although most have never even seen one before. Those that do remember them, have nothing but good things to say.

This is your chance to become the next custodian of one of the UK's rarest cars, as written about in a recent Daily Telegraph feature!
