Here is a really cool SMALL 2.25” oval Antique DEEP Cobalt Blue tablet Bottle, GORGEOUS! Beautiful deep cobalt blue coloring.


Some descriptions said 1880s or 1890s it looks to me like the mold seams stop at the shoulders and the lip is definitely irregularly formed, plus the cork in the Cap is off center to fit the irregular, probably hand-formed, lip.


I found this description of an identical bottle, but I am not expert enough to know if it is accurate!


“A 3 inch tall beautiful nice COBALT BLUE colored oval flask shaped antique PILL flask. ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand Blown Into Mold bottle with a tooled top, dating well over ONE CENTURY OLD.


Bottle embossed: "PP" for BP Co., Brunswick Pharmaceutical Company


Condition: Bottle is in good solid and clean condition. It may have a trace of haze/stain, but structurally it is sound, NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. An ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca. early 1900's.


In as found condition with minimal wear ...condition as shown....still full with pills.....its 3/4" deep x 1 3/4" across x 3 1/4" tall in size....will not stand as it has a round bottom.........what you see is what you get .....add this to your old Papoids pill bottle collection........”
