This book was a memorial donation to the library. The previous owner was evidently a devoted reader of the book. There is extensive underlining and some notes. The character of the markings indicate intelligent study. My guess is he was a college professor, as his name is preceeded by "Dr.". Some may find this irrelevant, but I mention it because I know that I personally don't mind markings so much if they seem to be a tool for understanding, and not the desultory marking of a bored student. At any rate, the pages are easily readable despite the markings.

A few pages were cut a bit roughly and have notches or tears in the margin. No text is missing.

Cover is in good vintage condition.

436 pages. 9.9 inches x 6.9 inches.
