Genuine, authentic, original hand signed photograph of Waffen SS Sturmbannfuhrer Siegfried Brosow.

Brosow was a highly decorated German Elite Forces tank combat engineer batallion troop commander during WW2.

Brosow was known as Commander of Training at the Waffen SS Pionierschule, and previously commanded several companies and batallions of the Waffen SS 2nd Panzer Division "Das Reich" in the Battle of Normandy and on the Eastern Front.

Because of his military service, Brosow was awarded the German Cross in Gold, the Close Combat Clasp in Silver, the Infantry Assault Badge in Silver, the Wound Badge in Gold and the Iron Cross First and Second Class.

Brosow was awarded the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross on November 13 1943!

The 4 x 5.5 inch glossy black and white photograph shows Brosow as a Waffen SS Sturmbannfuhrer wearing his Knights Cross and he has signed his full name signature across the image in black fountain pen ink, postwar.  The signed foto has a slight smudge in the upper right corner(probably when he was signing), otherwise in very good condition.  I purchased these from Todd Mueller Autograph Auctions last year.  Along with a modern, internet, unsigned print of the Waffen SS Das Reich Division in combat.  Total: 2 items
