A finely executed piece for the period. Few have survived,  especially in this condition.

Mid to late 17th century,  most likely earlier than later.

13" long, handle 3/8 wide, bowl just shy of half an inch deep, and 2 9/16" wide

An incredible survivor in untouched and uncleaned condition with an excellent patina.

I'm a 3rd generation early American hearthware and utilitarian collector.  My Grandfather began back in the 1950s and my father continued the collection,  as I have.
