Hutschenreuther Watteau Scene Cranberry Pink & Raised Gold Scrollwork Plate

Antique German porcelain plate. Decorated in the Royal Vienna or Dresden style with a courting couple in the center framed by maroon and raised gold gilt scrollwork. With an overall background of pompadour pink with gold gilt net overlay. With yellow along the edge with gold gilt stripes. Has a faint impressed monogram in a circle mark, appears to be HR. Probably Hutschenreuther. Late 19th century.

Has a lot of wear to the gilding, and wear to the enamel, but no chips or cracks.

Measures approximately 9 3/8 inches wide.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
