antique mold blown amber glass cologne bottle in an Elongated Loop
pattern with gold gilt floral designs on the tops and around the bottom
and to the the top of the stopper. Ground and polished pontiled base.
Produced by Boston & Sandwich. Circa 1840 to 1870. Reference: A
Guide To Sandwich Glass Vases, Colognes and Stoppers, plate 3108.
Has
wear to the gilding. Also has a flake to the top of the stopper and
some small flakes around the center of the stopper. Has a few flakes to
the mold seams on the bottle and some flakes and small chips around the
inside of the opening.
Measures approximately 3 3/8 inches wide x 7 7/8 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
