W.T. Copeland Majolica Fish Paste Pot
This rare W.T. Copeland Majolica fish paste pot is really nice. It is finely made and depicts a fish atop a fisherman's net with floats draped over the lid and flowing down the sides. The fish is the lids handle. The detail on the net and fish is amazing. The bottom part is cobalt blue. The pictures don't really do this item justice. The cobalt blue is more vivid in color than the auction pictures show, at least on my computer screen. I am amazed that this item has remained undamaged. It dates to about 1875 from what I could find out. Looking online, I have found this item selling for high prices 1,300 - 2,100, so this should be a good find for someone. I have no place to display it and hope it would find a good home with a collector of such items. I will pack it well and ship it in an oversized box with plenty of packing. I t will be sent Priority mail with insurance. This is about 3 1/4 inches by 7 inches tall. Any questions, Please email me with the contact feature. Thank you for your interest.
