Stanley Bailey No. 3 Vintage Hand Plane Type 16

 This Stanley No.3 wood plane doesn't show heavy use or bad damage. The metal base is in very good condition. There are very few marks on the metal base. No heavy rust or pitting on the base. The black paint is mostly intact, with some small chips in the paint. No deep scrapes or deep scratches on the bottom. The wood handles are very good, with no repairs, large chips or cracks.There are a few small marks. There are marks in the heavy varnish finish on the wood handles. The blade adjustment and lateral adjustment work well. The screws are good, not all buggered up. The lever clamp is in good condition, with some dulling and bubbling in the plated finish of the lever cap. The blade needs a sharpening but it has a lot of life left in it.
