WARNING / PSA: Never place a guinea pig in an exercise ball! Guinea pigs have very very short, inflexible backs & placing them on a wheel or in a ball like this will result in back injury.

ALWAYS SUPERVISE YOUR PET WHEN ‘LOCKED’ INSIDE THE BALL. People with young and/or sadistic children, please be aware that it’s unfortunately quite easy to torture a small animal in this thing with or without intent (kicking the ball, throwing it, placing it under water, etc.). I myself have accidentally kicked one of these with my chinchilla in it, which really upset him (oops!).

Free shipping. Quantity available: 2. Price is for one ball.

13 inch tall, 41 inch diameter extra large XL mega size clear exercise ball, Kaytee brand. Material is listed as plastic, but I’m pretty sure it’s specifically acrylic paneling. Lightly used by my chinchillas, but they now have a whole room to themselves so I don’t need it anymore. The ball is very thick, high resistance to crushing, and is very, very sturdy, but it does not collapse smaller. Please note it can be a bit cumbersome to store due to its inflexibility and large size. If you attempt to undo the plastic, at the seams, it will break.

★☆★NOT SUITABLE FOR… Hamsters, mice, gerbils, rats, or any animal the same size or smaller. Never put a guinea pig in an exercise ball. Probably don’t put your baby in it? I’ll leave that up to you, but a baby could fit in it… It’d make a great Bubble Boy Halloween costume (just saying!).

☆★☆FOR… Chinchillas, ferrets, squirrels, miniature cat/kitten*, miniature dog/small dog**

*ABOUT CATS—miniature, small, or short-legged cats only. Do not leave your cat inside without supervision. It’s best for people who can’t have their cat go outside w/o risking its life, or people with other pets at home that bother the cat.

**ABOUT DOGS—small dogs also have inflexible, short backs so use discretion since you know your pet far better than me (but tell them I said hi!). Never leave them in it without supervision. This ball is actually great for dog parks w/o leash ordinances because your dog will be protected from the more rambunctious, larger pups. Great for puppies, who’re usually too rambunctious for their own good. :)

****always use discretion and common sense when giving your pets a new toy or introducing them to a new space. If your pet doesn’t like it, don’t force them inside as this will only make it harder or impossible to use in the future. Use treats and other forms of positive encouragement to entice them inside.****
