Jean Pouyat Limoges Hand Painted Pink Chrysanthemums Rococo Basket C. 1891 - 1932

Pretty porcelain rococo style basket. Nicely decorated with hand painted pink chrysanthemums on one side and burgundy chrysanthemums on the other wise. The bottom of the basket is painted green and the top is painted pink. With gold gilt highlights.  Mark on the bottom J. P. L. France in green. This is an underglaze whiteware mark used by Jean Pouyat in Limoges France between 1891 and 1932

Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.

Measures approximately 6 3/8 inches long x 3 3/8 inches wide x 4 3/4 inches tall.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
