This is a very old set of letter punches in a wonderful handmade wooden box complete with leather straps. It includes all the letters of the alphabet plus the ampersand (&).
The box is approximately 7" x 3" x 3". The stamps are about 2 1/3" long and 1/4" square.
As Found Condition: This is a wonderful antique item that has signs of wear. One of the leather straps is broken, and there's writing in pencil on the inside of the lid. There's also wear to some of the letters and a little rust. Please see photos for details.
