Genuine, authentic, original signed War document of Kriegsmarine Vizeadmiral Hans Stohwasser.

Stohwasser was a highly decorated German War Navy coastal security commander during WW2.

Stohwasser was commander of Coastal Security in the Baltic Sea during WW2 and in WW1 was a U Boat submarine commander who is credited with the sinking of two war ships.

Because of his military successes, Stohwasser was awarded the Kriegsmarine Minesweeper Badge, the Honour Clasp to the Iron Cross First and Second Class, and the Iron Cross First and Second Class.

And because of his extreme personal bravery and successful military leadership in combat, Stahwasser was awarded the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross on November 30 1942!

The 8vo size printed and typed War document signed awards the Iron Cross 2nd Class to Sanitaetsobermaat Hellmut Hoffmann, and dated on Board, August 29, 1943, signed by Stohwasser as Commander in Chief of Security in the East Sea(Baltic), and Vizeadmiral, all in black pencil.  The signed document has normal file holes and one fold, otherwise in very good condition.  I purchased this from the Todd Mueller Autograph Auctions and comes with their Certificate of Authenticity, along with a modern, internet, unsigned print of Stohwasser on Board a ship in the War.  Total: 3 items
