A 3D printed part to replace the now no longer available hard rubber grommet fitted to 452 Smart Roadsters, both notch and coupe varieties.

These parts are not identical to the originals, and should not be assumed to be.

This available alternative has been designed to fit the area, rather than mimic the originals. 

Made in polyurethane gives these more flex, so are easier to fit than an original.

This listing is for one Black Grommet, as pictured. Grey is also available, see my other listing. Other colours may also be available upon request. Please message your requests before ordering.

Please check the correct alignment of your aerial base assembly and wing panel before fitting. Light silicone oil to the aerial shaft will help inserting and screwing the aerial through this grommet once fitted for the first time.

Allow the grommet to settle on the wing panel. A small amount of light massaging of the grommet will help it lay flat against the panel.

The grommet is water, wash detergent dilute, and petrol resistant. All other solvents should be avoided as damage will occur.
