Here's a spectacular IWC 14K solid gold tank or squre watch for special occasions, work or play. It's a WWII era watch that dates to 1942 and uses a precise (adjusted to 3 positions) caliber 60 manual wind movement that pre-dates the caliber 83 movement from IWC. The watch is 26mm square by 32mm lug to lug, so it's good sized. Comes in the original IWC watch case.

Watch was serviced in 2024 for the new owner. It's in impeccable condition for the age and even the watch box is in superb original condition.

Case: tank style with no signs of polishing - 26mm x 26mm x 32mm (a good sized watch...similar to JLC Reverso of the era)Movement: IWC HXB manual wind 17 jewel movement, regulated and adjusted to 3 positions. The serial number dates this one to 1942, so definitely WWII era watch. Initials on back: tasteful and Art Deco serif-styleDial: Original gold dial and appears all original with subseconds dial in terrific condition.

This is just an elegant timepiece.
