This is so cool! I did NOTHING to clean it because the patina is so beautiful. If you buy it and wish to shine it up, that's awesome. I chose not to clean it up because I have no idea what would most please the buyer. Some like it shiny, some like it original. Once you make it shiny, you lose original, so I just left it. Feels like it has a light coat of oil on it.
The saw measures about 26" long, the metal blade about 22" long. The saw is clearly marked with the famous "Winchester" logo. There is other text on the saw that is more difficult to read from the pictures, so here is what is stamped/engraved on the saw blade...
No. W8, Made of the finest saw steel by master craftsmen, carefully taper ground and set perfectly tempered. Winchester Trade Mark, Made in USA, "As Good As The Sun."
On the handle round button, it states, "Warranted Superior."

I took the maximum number pictures allowed by eBay of the saw outside on a sunny day. I honestly believe that natural light shows the product the best. Please review all of them as I hid nothing when taking the pictures. My customers are satisfied because when you buy from me, there are no unpleasant surprises.
