Product Description…

Up for sale is a 1994 Chinese Silver Panda 10 Yuan Coin consisting of 1 oz of .999 fine silver.  THIS COIN IS THE SMALL DATE VARIETY.  The coin is certified and graded MS68 by NGC.  This coin is in excellent condition with no toning or milk spots.  The coin has a low mintage of only 120,000 which includes the large date variety.

The 1994 Panda coin was issued by the People’s Bank of China.  The obverse design features the Temple of Heaven in Beijing with the title of PRC (in Chinese) and the year of issuance.  The reverse design features one of the many attractive panda designs and the face value of 10 Yuan.  The BU coin had 2 varieties – large and small dates. The large date was minted at the Shanghai Mint and the small date at the Shenyang Mint.
