This is an antique cast iron floor or wall grate which has moveable louvers and a neat waffle design.  It is approx. 13 3/4" x 9 3/4" with the opening to be approx. 12 x 8".  It is 2 1/2" deep with louvers open and 1 1/2" deep when closed.  It weighs approx. 6 pounds prior to being packed for shipment to the winner.  It has been painted white but should really be refurbished to match where you put it.
