Extremely Rare 1969 Ford Experimental Boss 302 Oil Cooler Adapter (experimental part number shown engraved on cooler) as we all know the 1969 model with a 4:30 rear gear had an engine cooling problem and was delayed. However, parts were still designed to support the oil cooler package. One of the parts to that package was the oil filter adapter assembly. This particular oil cooler was purchased direct from retired Ford engineer who worked in research and development. It is extremely rare as the part number shows for a 1969 model that never did exists as there were no oil cooled 1969 models. Part number C9ZE-6884-C. This unit could be found on 1970 models as part # DOZE-6884-A. I have never personally seen another and most likely never will. If you're a numbers matching person, an extreme Ford collector, or would like to display very, very rare parts. This is definitely one part that will match. You can read more about this part on the boss 302 registry as it is documented but I don't believe a picture is actually displayed. Here is real hard evidence that they do exist. Will be shipped USPS
