This is a very rare Shell Oil Marine 9 3/8 inch Restaurant Ware plate that came off of a Shell Oil Tanker Ship used in the Dining hall onboard. I come across Texaco plates occasionaly here In Port Arthur, Texas " Major Oil Refining Seaport " but I have never seen a Shell Oil plate in my life and I cant even locate one on Google for reference. This one came from the estate of the son of a retired Texaco Marine " I have a Texaco plate listed here on Ebay as well "  employee so he may have shipped out with Shell at some point. It is made by Maastricht of Holland. It would make a very unique piece for a Shell Oil collector and is in very nice condition.
