A very rare antique Chinese reverse-painting on glass created for export to Europe in the 1800's. The painting's subject is a buxom European woman dressed fashionable with a blue velvet gown off her shoulders and multi-colored flowers in her hair. The painted is titled: FANNY. This is a very delicate piece of artwork featuring imperfect handmade glass that is hundreds of years old. The Chinese artisan who created this artwork with incredible line details and high quality paint that has retained its vibrancy.

The painting is only in good condition because of some minor paint loss(see close-up photos). The glass is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The frame appears to be original to the painting and has a minor "nick" on the bottom left. The frame measures approximately 12" inches height by 9 1/2" inches width. The actual painting measures approximately 9 1/2" inches height by 6 3/4" inches width.
