The Star Safety Razor made by Kampfe Bros. Brooklyn, NY between 1880 and 1884.

The razor is in beautiful condition as is the tin both of which have some minor dings and scratches as can be seen in the photos. I'd say it's in remarkable condition considering it's almost 150 years old.

The razor is marked 1884 and the one patent date on the tin reads June 15, 1880. This is the first one made without the wood handle.
